What can we
the older generations say
when the clever young people
move abroad across the ocean
prepared as they are
for a broader vision
of a contenporary world
with multiple options
we are happy for them
and for ourselves
for we are proud
of who they are
we will miss them deeply
yes
and cry sadly
yes
this does not lessen
our pride in who they are
on what they do
and on what they will do.
